หยุดตกแล้ว! – วันที่ 4 ต.ค. เกียวโดนิวส์และ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานว่า สำนักงานอุตุนิยมวิทยาญี่ปุ่น (เจเอ็มเอ) ระบุว่าสถิติ ฝนตก ต่อเนื่องในใจกลางกรุงโตเกียวได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้วเมื่อวันที่ 3 ต.ค.

หลังฝนตกต่อเนื่อง 37 วันและยาวนานที่สุดเท่าที่เคยมีการบันทึกไว้ ความเคลื่อนไหวดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นภายหลังไม่มีการรายงานฝนตกในพื้นที่เมืองหลวงเมื่อวันที่ 3 ต.ค.ที่ผ่านมา ส่วนสาเหตุที่ฝนตกติดต่อกันทุบสถิติเดิมที่ 33 วันช่วงปลายเดือนมิ.ย.2562 เป็นเพราะอิทธิพลของพายุไต้ฝุ่นและแนวปะทะอากาศจนเกิดฝนฤดูใบไม้ร่วงที่ยาวนาน
นอกจากนี้ สำนักงานอุตุนิยมวิทยาญี่ปุ่นยังระบุด้วยว่า ภาคตะวันออกของญี่ปุ่นมีปริมาณน้ำฝนสูงสุดและมีชั่วโมงแสงแดดน้อยที่สุดในเดือนก.ย. นับตั้งแต่เริ่มมีการบันทึกข้อมูลในปี 2489 หรือเมื่อ 80 ปีก่อน
